To be fair, attacks on other regions did not stop.
So, for the sake of two people, an agreement was instantly reached on a ceasefire, albeit a limited one, but it seems impossible to do this for the sake of millions of ordinary Ukrainians.

Maybe it was a reference to the Italian Voluntary Militia for National Security, commonly called the Blackshirts? Its members were distinguished by their black uniforms and their loyalty to Benito Mussolini, the Duce (leader) of Fascism, to whom they swore an oath. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackshirts So we can thank their brilliant image makers for another opportunity for putin to declare to the whole world about "fascists" in Ukraine. It is obvious that different rules operate in international politics than in the local circus.
Apparently, in order to further anger putin and disrupt peace talks. After all, if the war ends, they will have to hold elections and answer for their crimes, as the head of the anti-corruption prosecutor's office recently hinted at.

Due to the deterioration of security due to drones and missiles, the Kyiv authorities decided to change the rules for declaring an air alert.
