In a conversation with Seva, who came to visit his mother and sister last weekend but will not be able to come this weekend because he works all his free time from studying, I joked that on Sundays in Poland only traffic lights and Ukrainians work. Seva replied that traffic lights do not always work...
But this is nothing compared to the fact that in Ukraine now men have fewer rights than women in Afghanistan. In essence, Ukraine has introduced slavery for a certain category of citizens (slaves), who have no rights or freedoms without the permission of the owner (the state). As in the case of slavery, a Ukrainian cannot voluntarily renounce citizenship (slavery).
It is significant that in my team now men (including me) make up only a fifth of all employees.
However, women also do not tolerate the situation well. The wife of a friend (they lives far from the front, both have a job) describes her condition as a compressed spring, ready to break from the stress. When we talked with the boss, we noted the inadequate behavior of one employee. The boss said that she changed a lot after the big invasion in 2022.
But perhaps the most significant event, the full consequences of which still cannot be assessed, in recent times was the hacking of Ukrainian state registries on December 20, 2024. Among the main registers are the State Register of Civil Status Acts of Citizens, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, and the State Register of Real Estate Rights. The authorities immediately blamed russia and russian hackers.

People joke that the state has received several million new reservists, because the data on employee reservations and deferments from military service has also been lost, the program by which mobilizers checked people when they caught them on the street does not work. Now, by default, everyone could be sent to the army until they prove otherwise with paper documents. But few people have them, because the state declared that one of its greatest achievements was the transfer of mobilization to electronic form.
Against this background, the adoption of the law according to which a register of military personnel was created looks like a mockery.
The following data of the military will be stored in the registry: last name, first name, patronymic, gender, date of birth, digitized facial image, registration number of the taxpayer's registration card.
Also stored will be: unique record number in the Unified State Demographic Register (if available), marital status and information about family members, information about issued military registration documents.
